Safety Presentations

The University of Arizona Police Department is committed to providing a safe environment for the community. This includes the faculty, staff, students and the visitors to The University of Arizona campus.  We have included some of the safety presentations that we provide to the community. Please look over the available presentations and contact us via the form below to schedule a presentation for your group of 5 or more. We will need a location and access to a computer with projector. Active Shooter Response

This presentation will empower you with the mindset and practical tools to make the best possible decisions for your day-to-day safety and teach you how to respond during crisis situations. You will learn about a wide range of general safety strategies, and specific best practices to utilize if you find yourself in an active shooter situation.(One Hour Presentation)

Robbery Prevention

This presentation is intended to give you the tools and options should you be confronted on campus during a robbery situation. (30 Minute Presentation)

Campus Safety Presentation

This presentation provides the campus community with day-to-day personal safety tips. Awareness is key to campus life and safety. (One Hour Presentation)

Theft Prevention

One of the most reported crimes at The University of Arizona is theft of personal property.  A short presentation will provide you with helpful tips on how to protect your property from being stolen. It will also educate you on what to do if your items are stolen and how to report it.

Building Safety Surveys

Our Community Engagement officers will conduct a walk-through of your department and provide options to make the area a safer work place. (One Hour Time frame)

Alcohol/Drug Education

This training will discuss the effects and consequences of underage drug use and violations. It also covers the effects on the body.  This is provided to Residence Life and individual campus groups. (45 minutes)

International Student Safety

This training discusses Arizona laws, the Tucson area, and how to get around safely. This training also provides personal safety and crime prevention tips for on and off campus life.
