Yavapai Residence Hall Liaison
Hello, my name is Mario Leon and I am the new UAPD liaison for Yavapai Residence Hall. The 2008-2009 academic year has a lot in store for us and I look forward to working with the hall community to make it a safe, fun, and memorable experience. I have been a police officer with the UA since January 2006. Since that time I have worked in patrol, investigations, and have recently returned to patrol as a Corporal. Prior to coming here; I worked 9 years for the Santa Cruz Police Department in California. My experience in California was diverse and included assignments in detectives, crime scene investigation, school resource officer, and hostage negotiations. I look forward to meeting everyone and welcome the
opportunity to visit Yavapai whenever my schedule allows. My goal is to
be a familiar face and a resource for any questions our hall community
might have. I will also be providing safety related information throughout
the year, as well as information on our webpage. Below you will find my
