Community Service Officers

Another unique venture the UAPD offers for University students, is the Community Service Officer program. Students are employed by the police department, are trained and then deployed out into field patrol on foot or bicycle. CSO's act as the eyes and ears for the police department. Students may also experience other facets of the department such as Property & Evidence, Special Events, or Dispatching.
