Business Affairs Division

Marlene Supco
Business Manager

Marlene Supco is the departments'
Business Manager. She is ultimately responsible for the fiscally sound
management of these funds in addition to ensuring that funds are expended
in compliance with university policy. She oversees the Business Affairs
Division, which provides business and support functions for the Agency.
Laura
Menke carries out the Purchasing, Travel and Payroll functions of the
Business Affairs Division. She is also responsible for the payroll of
UAPD and external personnel working Special Event functions and the billing
of those costs. She certifies that all expenditures not only are in following
with university guidelines, but also meet the allowances defined in the
Division's budget.
Leticia Robles is our Computer Operations
Support person. As webmaster, Leticia created the current website to make
it user-oriented and more resourceful for our visitors. Our site is now
ADA/504 Compliant. She maintains the site and uploads the Daily Activity.
Additionally, Leticia works with department units to create individual
databases to enable them to more efficiently gather information. She oversees
an e-mail and file server, maintains the department listserve and is responsible
for the department computer and equipment inventory. She tracks maintenance
and repair required for each computer and works with the Business Manager
to determine an annual computer replacement schedule.
Carmen
Elias is the department Human Resources coordinator. She works alongside
University Human Resources to expedite our various recruitment processes.
She coordinates with outside professionals in order to fulfill the various
requirements to UAPD employment. By accessing our applicant database,
she keeps potential applicants abreast of upcoming recruiting processes.
Veronica
Hernandez's primary duty is that of department transcriber. She works
alongside detectives in Investigations and is responsible for the transcription
of various taped interviews.
Additionally, Veronica maintains
the department's personnel evaluation records, ensuring that they are
current. Other duties include inventory and ordering of needed office
supplies for the department.
