Information Technology Support Analyst
Opening currently exists for full-time position.
Incumbent performs basic information technology support activities in
some combination of the following: systems administration, network administration,
applications systems design/development, database design/development or
administration, web site design/development and/or workstation/end user
support. Duties include but are not limited
to:
- Installing, configuring and performing
routine maintenance on systems hardware and software including
servers and operating systems.
- Maintain, monitor and support
data and voice networks including client connectivity, authorization
and authentication mechanisms.
- Implement and maintain data structures
including stored procedures and views.
- Evaluate workstation support
needs; plan and implement maintenance, upgrades and training programs.
Resolve hardware/software problems.
- Participate in research of current
and emerging computing technologies.
- Assist with annually mandated
compliance program procedures (like the PI Sweep, ISL survey,
and license reports).
- Train end users in employing
workstation best-practices.

- Create and maintain user accounts.
- Participate in designing, analyzing,
implementing and maintaining applications systems.
- Write and maintain computer code
and test applications.
- Participate in the analysis,
design, development, maintenance and administration of automated
databases.
- Perform basic analysis, design,
development, and maintenance of web sites.
- Install, configure and maintain
workstation hardware, software and peripherals.
- Implement and monitor computer
security and quality assurance procedures and maintain associated
required documentation.
- Assist with maintaining virus,
spy ware and other security systems.
- Team with other tech support
personnel in deciding on changing security measures.
